Mikumi National Park

Mikumi National Park is located not far from the shores of the Indian Ocean. This park is the perfect destination for those who would like to do a safari, but doesn’t have a lot time. The park is known for its abundant wildlife and great sightings!

Nyerere National Park is one of the oldest and largest animal sanctuaries in the world. It is possible to spot hippos and crocodiles whilst enjoy a boat safari on the Rufiji river. The park is less accessible than the Northern circuit parks and makes it therefore less crowded. The park has a wide variety of wildlife, but is most famous for its great population of wild dogs and it contains the largest concentration of lions in Africa.

Nyerer National Park

Ruaha National Park is the second largest park of the country. It is still untouched and less touristic, which makes it a very unique destination. The park is home to 10% of Africa’s lions, which is the greatest concentration after Nyerere National Park.
